As an integrative practitioner,
I believe in embracing every part of ourselves—the ones we love and the ones we don’t.
Like so many of us, I come from an overwhelming childhood. As a strategy to keep myself safe, I’m grateful that I connected with my intuition as a young child. Trusting in this connection guided me to healing in my 20s and now 30s through yoga, holistic approaches, therapy, and plant medicine. This work has led me to offer similar pathways to my clients.
My intersectional life experiences situate me to support a wide range of clients. Coming from an economically, racially, and socially diverse area in the Midwest and having traveled and lived in conscious communities around the world, I understand many different backgrounds. Having experienced complex trauma and addiction to substances, I walk the path of transformation and healing every day. As a veteran who has navigated the challenges of recovering from PTSD, I bring a unique resilience to my work. Weaving in yoga, dance, singing, art, ritual, prayer, and nature supports me in acknowledging, befriending, and being curious about disconnected parts of myself.
A thread throughout my life has been the way I notice opportunities for change, because I know we can do it differently. This has shown up in advocating for survivors of sexual assault, reforming the criminal justice system, ensuring equitable access to housing and federally funded programs, policy-making, educating about gender, racial, and social disparities, and researching and developing solutions during my master’s and PhD studies. For the past almost two decades, I’ve improved the lives of people through nonprofit and federal work. In my personal life, I’m an ally to my loved ones, supporting them in cultivating more meaningful lives through encouraging words, listening, co-regulating, and showing up as a stable and consistent presence in their lives.
My nervous system is supported by living a slow, intentional life nestled in the Rocky Mountains near Boulder, Colorado. I prioritize building and nurturing lasting relationships, as I believe these connections help to make life more enjoyable and fulfilling. I share living space with my partner, housemate, and our two dogs—a snuggly miniature dachshund and an energetic Australian shepherd mix. It brings me joy to connect with nature, sing, read, sauna, make nourishing meals, host gatherings, and cultivate deeper connections with my loved ones.
